Westlake Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested at West Virginia Campground

Two men spotted after police responded to disturbance at campground.

Two men suspected of robbing Key Bank in Westlake last week were arrested in West Virginia this weekend, the Huntington Herald-Dispatch reports.

Tommy L. Gallagher, 36, and Trevor Spurlock, 21, were at a campground near Milton, W. Va. when police were called on a report of a disturbance, the newspaper reports.

The officers discovered that the two men were wanted for the robbery at Key Bank on Columbia Road on Friday. The Herald-Dispatch reports that one of the men said he "Was just looking for some money and freedom ... Thought we'd hit one or two more. That would have got me what I needed to start on a straight path."

Our news partners at WEWS News Channel 5 report that the two men worked for a traveling carnival company.
