Thieves Steal From Home, Unlocked Cars

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thieves got into two unlocked cars and made off with a nice haul.

A Westford Circle woman reported that $100 in cash, a gift card, and a small can of pepper spray were taken from her unlocked 2010 Ford Fusion the night of August 21. The same night, $50 in cash, a $40 purse, and a $200 GPS were taken from a 2008 Nissan Rogue at a Trotters Ridge residence.

Two rings worth at least $2,200 were taken from a Wakefied Lane woman's home sometime between July 27 and August 20. The woman told  on August 23 that she suspected home cleaners may have done it. The investigation is continuing.
