Teenager Runs Home After Being Followed by Man Driving Silver Car

Incident was on May 6 on North Bay Drive.

A 14-year-old Westlake boy had a scare May 6.

At approximately 4 p.m. the driver of a smaller, newer silver car (possibly an American make) pulled up and stopped behind the teen as he walked on North Bay Drive.

The white male was described as late 50s, heavy-set, 5'10"-6' tall, wearing glasses, moustache and a soul patch (a tuft of hair under lower lip) with medium length white hair combed straight back, wearing a red Cleveland Indians shirt, faded blue jeans and white tennis shoes with black toes.

The driver got out of the vehicle, made eye contact and followed the boy on foot. The teen ran to his home through backyards and then saw the suspect drive off onto Center Ridge Road.

He told his father right away and his mother brought him to Westlake Police Department on May 8 to report the matter.
