Also in the blotter: TV thieves tracked down by license plate

A 23-year-old Columbia Station woman and a 20-year-old Lakewood man were arrested for receiving stolen property and possession of criminal tools after a July 23 theft of two 19-inch TV sets from a Center Ridge Road store. The suspects fled the scene, but not before a store employee got the license plate number off their vehicle. Lakewood Police Department stopped the vehicle at the owner’s residence; Westlake Police Department recovered the TVs and made the arrests. The possession of criminal tools charge stems from the use of the car to transport the stolen goods.
