Returning Stolen Clothes to Store Nabs Suspect

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Stolen clothes helped lead to an arrest.

A Toyota Sienna parked in a garage on Vine Street was broken into the evening of April 28. The front passenger window was smashed, and a checkbook and $700 in clothing were taken.

The next day, a man was arrested by Sheffield Village police after he tried to return some of the stolen clothing to the store where it had been bought.

Also on April 28, a laptop, iPod and keys were stolen after a Ford Taurus was broken into in a Union Street garage.
