Money Missing From Business's Safe
are investigating $2,500 of missing cash from a Center Ridge Road business. Police found no signs of a break-in when the theft was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Oct. 31. Police suspect an employee who did not report to work as scheduled.
Laptop Stolen From Crocker Road Business

Police received a report of a stolen laptop from a Crocker Road business at about 5 p.m. Oct. 31. Police believe it was taken over the weekend. Officers have no suspects.
Wedding Ring Set Taken From Office Drawer

A $14,000 wedding ring set was taken from a Clague Road office between Oct. 27 and Nov. 1. An employee left the set in a desk drawer on Oct. 27 and discovered it was missing when she came back to work. Police have no suspects.
Woman's Ex-Boyfriend Causes Disturbance on Cahoon Road
Westlake police came to a Cahoon Road home at about 1 a.m. Nov. 2 after someone called and reported seeing a man kicking and banging on the door. The caller told police that when a woman opened the door, the man punched her as he came inside. When officers arrived, the 27-year-woman denied that the man, her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend, had hit her. The man initially refused to come out of a locked bathroom, and when he did come out, police arrested him for disorderly conduct intoxicated. The man told officers that he and the woman had planned to get married the weekend before, but they had broken up a month before.
