Police Blotter: Three Arrested, One Tasered In Bar Fight

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police Arrest Three, Taser One In Fight at Panini's

Police arrested three suspects after a brawl at at about 9:15 p.m. Dec. 22. The three men, a 41-year-old Fairview Park man, a 30-year-old Bay Village man and 51-year-old Sagamore Hills man, started to fight in the parking lot when staff broke it up. The fight resumed shortly after that.

When officers arrived, the Bay Village man fought with them as they tried to arrest him. Officers hit the man with a Taser. In his pants pocket, police found cocaine, and so he faces charges of disorderly conduct intoxicated, resisting arrest and possession of drugs.

The other two men were charged with disorderly conduct intoxicated as well. The Sagamore Hills man complained of chest pains, so the Westlake Fire Department took him to and released him there. They also took the Bay Village man to the hospital as a precaution before taking him to .

A 50-year-old Fairview Park man was banned from after he skipped out on two bar tabs. The man ducked out on a $64 and a $9 bill before security stopped him. Police arrested him for disorderly conduct intoxicated and petty theft. And while it wasn't a crime, he also irritated other bar patrons by claiming to be the drummer for the band Journey.

Wallet Stolen From YMCA Parking Lot

Police are investigating the theft of a North Olmsted man's wallet from his 2011 Ford Escape while he was working out at the between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20. There was no damage to the vehicle, but two of the man's credit cards were used at four stores in North Olmsted. The charges totaled $7,945, some of which may have been recorded.
