Police Blotter: Stolen Motorcycle, Home Break-In

Bed Edger Stolen On Downing Street

A landscaper reported his bed edger stolen while it was left unattended on Downing Street July 1. The owner suspects the occupants of a blue Ford F-150 pulling a trailer that was seen in the area. The theft was reported July 5.

Motorcycle Stolen From Giant Eagle Lot

The owner of a Honda motorcycle reported it stolen from the Giant Eagle parking lot at about 8 p.m. July 1. The owner parked it about 15 minutes earlier. The motorcycle is valued at $8,500.

Home Break-In on Southbridge Circle

A safe was taken from a home office on Southbridge Circle the night of July 1. The safe, which contained two checkbooks and personal papers, was dragged down the driveway to a waiting vehicle. Costume jewelry was also taken from elsewhere in the house. The suspect or suspects forced open the door to the home’s attached garage. Police have no suspects.

Cornerstone Drive Home Burglarized

A home on Cornerstone Drive was burglarized some time July 2 or 3. The resident returned home to find cash, purses and jewelry missing, along with a safe containing personal papers. The kitchen window had been forced open. Police have no suspects.
