Police Blotter: Road Rage, Burglary and More
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Road Rage on Interstate 90
A 66-year-old Elyria man and a 60-year-old North Olmsted man chased each other from Hilliard Boulevard in Rocky River to a parking lot at Detroit and Crocker roads at about 1:45 p.m. Dec. 14.
The older man told police that the younger man shouted obscenities at him, while the younger man told police that the other driver cut him off twice. He denied any swearing. The City Prosecutor will rule on what, if any, charges will be filed.

Break In On Cahoon Road
A home on Cahoon Road was entered some time between Dec. 11 and 14. The exterior door was forcibly opened. Family members of the owner are compiling a list of stolen property that includes a watch, wallet and coins.

GPS Stolen From SUV
Security at found the window of a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder broken at about 3:45 p.m. Dec. 12. The owner, a Brecksville man, couldn't be found. The man called police later in the evening to say that his $139 GPS had been stolen. Police have no suspects.
GPS Stolen From Jeep
A Fairlawn man reported that the driver's side window of his 2005 Jeep Wrangler had been broken and his GPS had been taken. The man had been parked at the Promenade until about 4:30 p.m. Dec. 12. Police have no suspects, but believe this break-in is related to the one above.
