Police Blotter: Man Orders Massage, Gets Pepper Sprayed Instead

Escorts Spray Man With Pepper Spray Over Massage

A 27-year-old Westlake man’s night with two escorts ended with pepper spray in his face on May 28. The man’s neighbors on Detroit Road called police at about 1 p.m. when the women sprayed pepper spray in the man’s face. The man originally told police that the women came into his apartment and demanded money. Officers eventually found out that the man had hired an escort service for a massage. An argument then arose as to what was included in the massage. The man was cited for disorderly conduct. He refused treatment for his face.

Police Recover Yukon From East Cleveland

A Hunters Point resident noticed a 2007 GMC Yukon missing from a Hunters Point Lane driveway at about 6:30 a.m. June 3. The vehicle belongs to the resident’s employer. Police used OnStar system to find the vehicle in East Cleveland at about 7:30 a.m. the next day. Westlake and East Cleveland police returned the vehicle in good condition, but golf clubs and a laptop computer were missing. The total value was $1,600.

Boy Arrested After Fight Outside Regal Cinemas

Westlake police and Crocker Park security broke up a fight outside of Regal Cinemas at about 10:30 p.m.  May 27. Officers arrested a 15-year-old boy after he refused to leave the area, shouting vulgarities. When placed under arrest, the boy struggled against officers. Police charged the boy with misconduct at an emergency, disorderly conduct intoxicated, underage consumption, resisting arrest and carrying various weapons because police found a folding knife in his pants pocket. He was released to a guardian early the next morning.

Police Arrest Three In Fight Over Game At Dave & Buster's

Police arrested a 34-year-old Mentor woman for disorderly conduct after she and some other patrons got into a physical fight over a game at at about 10:30 p.m. May 28.  Police also arrested a 33-year-old Cleveland man on a Cleveland Police Department warrant and a 28-year-old Cleveland woman on a warrant from the North Olmsted Police Department. The Westlake City Prosecutor’s office later ruled that the three suspects will face additional assault charges from the incident.

Cell Phone Stolen From Car At Bally's

The driver’s side window of a Bay Village man’s 2004 Acura was broken between 11:45 a.m. and about 2 p.m. May 30 at . A $150 cell phone was taken. Police have no suspects.
