The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Man Driving Without License Demands Police Take Him To Jail

A 23-year-old Westlake man insisted that officers book him after they stopped him for speeding at about 3 a.m. Oct. 5.  The man was driving eastbound on Interstate 90 near the Rocky River border when police pulled him over and found that he was driving without a license.

When officers told the man his car would need to be towed, he got upset and refused to get out of the police cruiser. He demanded that police take him to jail, and after one officer asked him repeatedly to get out instead, the man got his wish. Police took him to jail and charged him with speeding, obstructing official business, driving without a license and disorderly conduct persisting. He was released that morning at 7:15 a.m., but that wasn’t his last run-in with the police that day.
