Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Using Ducks, Geese as BB Target Practice

Man Arrested for Shooting Ducks, Geese With BB Gun
A 68-year-old Bay Landing man admitted to shooting ducks and geese with a BB gun at about 6:15 p.m. Aug. 27. A witness called police after seeing the man with the gun at a nearby pond. Officers confiscated his BB gun after questioning him. Police issued warrants for hunting prohibited and discharging firearms, and the man turned himself in on Aug. 30. He was released the same day.
Purse Returned to Woman Missing Contents

A Cleveland woman got her purse back after leaving it at on Aug. 26, but it was missing two rings valued at $6,500, $320 in cash, a $40 gift card and a bottle of perfume. The purse had been turned into the lost and found. Police have no suspects.
Safe and Key Stolen from Urgent Care Center

The key to a safe and $110 cash were discovered missing from an urgent care center on Clague Road at about 11:45 a.m. Aug. 28. The key had been in a locked desk. Employees believe someone unlocked the desk with keys from somewhere else in the building.
