Police Blotter: Four Purses Stolen From Panera Employees' Cars

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Girls Charged For Shoplifting From Four Crocker Park Stores

Police arrested two 13-year-old Westlake girls for petty theft after they were caught shoplifting from Urban Outfitters at about 5 p.m. Nov. 13. Upon further investigation, police found tht the girls had taken clothes, electronics, accessories and some other items from Urban Outfiters and three other stores. Both were released to relatives and will have charges filed on them in Juvenile Court.

Cleaning Woman Arrested For Wedding Ring Theft

Police arrested a 19-year-old North Royalton woman Nov. 14 and are charging her with felony theft charges. The woman is suspected of stealing two wedding rings from a jewelry box at a Forest Lake home between Nov. 10 and 12. The woman works for a cleaning company used by the victims. The total value of the rings is $21,000.

Multiple Pranks Pulled On Holly Lane Home

A Holly Lane home was egged and toilet papered, and the resident’s car daubed with butter and salad dressing on the night of Nov. 12. The resident suspects two male classmates of one of her juvenile relatives, who both denied any involvement.  

Car Window Broken, Nothing Stolen

A Bay Village man reported the rear driver's side window on his 1999 Toyota Corolla broken at about 8 p.m. Nov. 13. Nothing was taken, but the inside of the car had been ransacked. The man had been eating at .

Four Purses Stolen From Four Panera Employees' Cars

Four employees' purses were stolen from their vehicles Nov. 13. All four vehicles had broken windows, and one car was missing a cell phone. A passerby found all four purses (minus the contained cash, gift cards and cell phone) behind the old Rego's supermarket on Columbia Road. Police have no suspects.
