The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Daughter Suspected of Stealing From Father

A Bradley Road man suspected his 19-year-old daughter and her 25-year-old boyfriend of stealing his prescription medications, cash, savings bonds and jewelry between Nov. 25 and Dec. 8. The man had kicked them both out and changed his locks. Police do not know how the suspects got inside the house.

Police arrested the 25-year-old man at his mother's home in Elyria on Dec. 8, and recovered some of the medication. Police arrested the woman nearby shortly afterwards.

Family Fued on Fitzroy Avenue

Officers went to a Fitzroy Street home at about 10 a.m. Dec. 9 to keep the peace while a 30-year-old woman picked up her four children and her clothes. Her estranged 32-year-old husband refused to let her have either the kids or clothes and deliberately slammed the door on her as she left the house. She was not injured and police arrested the man for domestic violence. A temporary protection order was issued and the suspect was released on his own recognizance later that day.
