Woman's Ex-Lover Tries For Revenge, Gets Arrested

A love triangle got out of control at a Marview Drive apartment at 10:09 a.m. March 19. Police responded to a report of a man banging on an apartment door and letting the air out of the tires on a Lorain man’s 1984 Cadillac. Officers arrested the same man on March 2 for banging on the same apartment door. When officers arrived, the suspect ran into the building where the Lorain man confronted him. Both men are former lovers of the apartment resident.

While inside, the Lakewood man hit a 32-year-old resident in the face and pushed her into a wall, damaging the plaster. The suspect tried to run outside again, but was caught by police. Officers charged the man with trespassing, assault, criminal mischief, menacing and possession of criminal tools for being in possession of a screwdriver used to let air out of the Cadillac. The Lakewood man was arraigned the next day and is now in jail on a $5,000 bond.
