Police Blotter: Credit Card Fraud, Cracked Windshield, Attempted Break-In

Man’s Dropped Credit Card Used at Crocker Park

A Cleveland man dropped his credit card at around 7 p.m. July 25. Before he could cancel it, it was used at the store at Crocker Park as well as two other stores.

On July 25, a Hunter’s Point man told police that someone tried to enter his garage in May. The owner had been away during that month and when he contacted hi insurance company, he was told to make a report. No one actually entered the garage or home.

Windshield Cracked on Dump Truck

The windshield on an off-road dump truck parked on Detroit Road near Dover Center Road was cracked some time between July 22 and July 25. The truck belongs to the contractor working on widening the intersection.
