Woman Suspects Ex-Boyfriend in Condo Break-in

Police have a possible suspect in a break-in at Pinetree Condominiums. Somebody broke into a 52-year-old resident’s home some time between 6 p.m. March 21 and noon March 22. The victim told police she doesn’t think anything is missing. An officer found pry marks on the screen to a ground floor bedroom window and police believe that’s how the suspect broke in. The victim thinks her ex-boyfriend may be a suspect.

Man Steals Stash of Christmas Ale from Car

A woman found that someone had stolen a six-pack of Great Lakes Christmas Ale and some change from her Saturn Vue at about 7 p.m. March 22. Police did not find any damage to her car which was parked on King James Parkway.

A man tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at the drive through of the at 25700 Detroit Rd. at about 4 p.m. March 21. A restaurant employee described the suspect as a heavy-set man in his late 20s or early 30s with tan skin and black hair in a silver or gray Jeep or Explorer.

Man Finds Out He Has Been Paying Someone Else’s Bills

Police are investigating withdrawals from a resident’s bank account. A 58-year-old Surrey Circle man told police March 21 that a business has been withdrawing money from his account for the past few months to pay an unknown person’s insurance.

Man Loses Wallet at Dave & Buster’s

A 35-year-old Lakewood man lost his wallet atat 8 p.m. Saturday. The man told police he last remembered having his wallet in the game room. The wallet had the man’s ID, cash and credit cards.

Bike Stolen from Outside of Apple Store

A boy’s bicycle was stolen from in front of the Crocker Park some time between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The black and green Verde Eon bicycle is valued at $400.

Lexus Gets Keyed on Woodpath Trail

A 51-year-old Woodpath Trail resident reported that his silver Lexus was scratched with a key three times on the different occasions at about 3:30 March 21. On Feb. 2, March 6 and March 18, the car was scratched on the door, body panel and rear trunk. Police have no suspects at this time.
