Family Feud At Detroit Road Bar

Officers arrested a 40-year-old Westlake man after he got into a fight with his 67-year-old father at 10:17 p.m. Feb. 3 at a bar in the 30600 block of Detroit Road. The son was extremely intoxicated, punching the back of the cruiser hood and banging his head. He resisted handcuffs from arresting officers in the parking lot . The suspect alternated claims of being God and the Devil, and spat all over the back seat of the cruiser on the way to jail. Police charged the man with disorderly conduct intoxicated, criminal damaging and resisting arrest.

Boy Hits Mother In The Stomach

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy at his home on Seneca Drive after he hit his 41-year-old mother in the stomach at 9:06 p.m. Feb. 1. Police took the boy to the County Juvenile Detention Home.

Over $600 Worth Of Property Stolen From Mustang

Someone punched the driver’s side door lock on a Lakewood man’s 1995 Ford Mustang some time between 7:11 and 9:20 p.m. Jan. 28. The car had been parked in a garage on Union Street. Police have no suspects.

Woman’s Wallet Goes Missing, Credit Card Used

A Westlake woman reported her wallet stolen at 1:02 p.m. Jan. 30. The woman told police it was taken from her purse while she was at a bar in Westlake the night before. One of her credit cards was used six times at two gas stations and two stores in Elyria and Avon overnight. The amounts of the charges are unclear, according to police. Detectives are investigating.

Cell Phone Charger Stolen

A Cleveland woman found that her car stereo and universal cell phone charger had been stolen from her 1994 Honda some time between 3 and 8:45 p.m. Feb. 6 in a parking garage on Union Street. The charger is valued at $20.
