Woman Uses Neighbor's Bathroom
A 42-year-old Winchester Court woman snuck across her neighbor's adjoining balcony and went into her apartment at about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 16. Responding officers asked the woman what she was doing, and she told them she just wanted to see what was going on. She had also apparently used the bathroom before police got there. Officers arrested her for trespassing, disorderly conduct and intoxication.
Man Teases Grandmother, Punches Father In Mouth
Police arrested a 30-year-old Westlake man for domestic violence after he punched his father in the mouth at about 2:15 p.m. Dec. 16. The man was at his grandparents' Columbia Road home, and had teased his 83-year-old grandmother. When his father confronted him about it, he punched his father in the mouth. The man was convicted of domestic violence earlier this year, making this arrest a felony. He was transfered to Cuyahoga County Jail Dec. 19.
Metal Grates Stolen From Crocker Park Garage
Three suspects stole an unknown number of metal grates from a garage at about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 15. The suspects are two black men and an unknown third person who were driving a blue over white Chevrolet van with 'UNSET' written on the side and a temporary license plate on the rear. Police have asked area scrap yards to be on the lookout for the grates.
