One Too Many Leads to Lots of Problems

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

How drunk do you have to be to not know your name or where you live?

A Westlake woman knows.

She was brought to the Westlake Police Department around 12:10 a.m. on Dec. 10 by a cab driver who had picked her up at a Westlake bar at the request of staff there.

Once she got into the cab, she couldn't tell the driver where she lived. She then couldn't tell police officers anything besides her date of birth.

The woman was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. And she owes the cab driver $10.

Seemed like a good idea at the time

A 34-year-old Westlake man and a 33-year-old Avon Lake man got drunk and decided to go jump on a minivan in the Holiday Inn parking lot around 12:24 a.m. on Dec. 15, thinking it belonged to a friend of theirs.

It didn't, and the family who was in the minivan got quite the shock.

The two men were charged by disorderly conduct by intoxication.
