New Year Starts Badly for Partiers

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Lots of people ended up in trouble after starting 2013 with a fight at a party on Woodmill Drive.

Police showed up just before 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 to break up the fight, and saw several people running from the scene. Women from Bay Village, ages 18 and 19, a 19-year-old Westlake woman and 20-year-old Olmsted Falls man are being charged with underage consumption.

A 37-year-old Cleveland woman faces a charge of obstructing official business for hiding some of the non-drinking partiers in her car.

The 21-year-old man who hosted the party is being investigated for possible providing accomodations charges.

Fight Night, Part II

An Olmsted Falls woman got into a fight with another woman and the hpst of a party at Prestwick Crossings around 2:48 on Jan. 1 and was pushed into a laundry room to keep her under control. Police charged her with disorderly conduct by intoxication.
