Missouri Escapee Gets More Charges, $500K Bond

Brian Adkinson who eluded a Missouri manhunt before traveling north to Westlake and Avon, had bond set for $500,000 in the Rocky River Municipal Court on Sept. 5.

His bond was set on the following charges: Two counts receiving Stolen Property (truck and license plate), one count felony fleeing, one count burglary (for taking the bike he was riding from a resident's open garage) and one count resisting arrest.

Adkison remains in the Westlake City jail, although he is likely to be transferred to the Cuyahoga County jail in the immediate future.

Adkison fled to Ohio after escaping from a Missouri jail Aug. 11.

He was arrested in Westlake on Sept. 4 after eluding area police the day before. http://avon-oh.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/escaped-missouri-convict-wanted-crossed-into-avon-..." rel="nofollow">Westlake police approached Adkison the night before when he was in a pickup truck. He fled into Avon before being spotted on a stolen bicycle Wednesday in Westlake.

Extradition decisions are made at the county and or state level.
