Devon Smith, a 14-year-old Hathaway Brown School student, was seen being dropped off from her school’s bus at her Westlake home on March 8 at 4:30 p.m. She did not enter the home and has not been heard from. She may be despondent over school issues and was reported missing at 8 p.m. that date.

Devon is a white female, 5’6” tall, 120 lbs, blond curly shoulder length hair, brown eyes. She was wearing a blue Hathaway Brown sweatshirt, grey jeans, tan topsider-style shoes, a quilted black jacket, and a green backpack.
WEWS reports that the FBI is now involved in the case.
A reader notified Patch that Devon has relatives in Avon Lake and may be seen there also. She is known for her very curly hair.
Devon’s friends are all east side residents; Hathaway Brown School emailed the parents of her classmates alerting them to Devon’s missing juvenile status.

Please note that another juvenile with the same name attends Westlake High School and is not involved.
