Marshals: Man Beat Girlfriend for 45 Minutes Over Facebook Posts

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Donte McGill.

Donte McGill is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Lorain Police for domestic violence. Police said that McGill, 28, attacked his live-in girlfriend after an argument ensued over some Facebook posts.  

Authorities said the girl was beaten for 45 minutes by McGill. He then left the house to go to the store and the victim was able to call the police for help.  The woman was hospitalized for four days as a result of what police are calling a  "vicious beating."

McGill fled the area down to Kentucky after the warrant was issued, according to a prepared statement. But, authorities believe Mcgill is back in the area.

McGill is a  6-foot 8-inch black man who weighs about 300 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. McGill is suspected to be hiding out somewhere in the Lorain or Elyria area. He also had a previous address near the 100 block of E. 115th St. in Lorain.
