Man Scammed on eBay, Car Vandalized

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Shopping on eBay ended badly for a Trotters Ridge man.

The man told Westlake Police he had purchased a 30-inch computer monitor from an eBay seller in August for $650. Instead of a monitor, he got a small box of rubber bands. When he complained to the seller, he received another small box, this one empty.

He reported the matter to Westlake Police so eBay would investigate.
