Man Can't Get Into Apartment, Gets Arrested Instead and More Crime

Man Asks for Assistance Getting Into Apartment, Gets Arrested Instead

A 54-year-old Lakewood man tried to get Westlake Police and Fire departments to let him into his girlfriend’s apartment on Cedarwood Drive at about 8:45 p.m. April 6.

The man claimed that he lived in the apartment, but was locked out. When asked where his girlfriend was, the man replied that she was in the Cuyahoga County Jail, doing a six-month stretch for drunken driving.

The man was unable to provide any proof that he lived there, and a neighbor said he did not live there.

Police arrested the man for disorderly conduct intoxicated. His small dog Jet was held at the shelter until his master claimed him the next afternoon.

Woman Arrested for Trespassing at Giant Eagle

A 39-year-old Westlake woman racked up her second trespassing arrest and her third disorderly conduct intoxicated arrest at about 9:45 p.m. April 5.

The woman had already been banned from and the Promenade, but decided to go back anyway. She was found intoxicated inside , where police arrested her.
