Fixtures Go Missing From Condominium

A realtor reported the theft of kitchen cabinets, countertops, and other fixtures from a Center Ridge Road condominium on Feb. 17. It had been foreclosed on and the tenant evicted. It was last seen intact on Oct. 29, 2011. Police have little information on the former tenant.

Westlake Man Hits Girlfriend, Pushes Her Son

Police arrested a 26-year-old Westlake man for domestic violence at about 7:15 p.m. Feb. 17. The man had argued with his 25-year-old live-in girlfriend over disciplining her 5-year-old son. The suspect reportedly pushed the boy down, punched the woman, and pushed her into a wall. The suspect was released on bond on Feb. 21 and a temporary protection order was issued.

Home Entered, Nothing Taken

A Shadow Creek Drive home was forcibly entered on Feb. 17 between 6:30 and 8 p.m. by kicking in the front door. Several rooms were ransacked, but nothing was missing. Police have no suspects.
