Who says television isn't educational?
A 54-year-old Euclid man put his TV law school degree to good use on April 28 after being arrested along with two 26-year-old Cleveland men. The three allegedly stole $856 in toiletries from a Detroit Road drug store around 10:52 a.m.
Store employees became suspiscious of the three, and called after two of them set off the anti-theft alarm as they ran out. They were stopped on Crocker Road.
The Euclid man and one of the Cleveland men were charged with theft. The other Cleveland man was charged with complicity, because he drove but didn't go into the store. The driver was also wanted by Seven Hills police.
The driver told Westlake police that he was "used like a tool."
The Euclid man asserted his right to remain silent, telling police, "I watch Law & Order."
