Lack of Front License Plate Leads to Drug Charges

For want of a front license plate, the $3,179 was lost, and so was the pot. So might begin a poem about the travails of a 20-year-old Cleveland man and 21-year-old Cleveland woman, who were stopped on I90 eastbound on Sept. 5 around 12:35 p.m.  

The license plate violation quickly became the least of their worries after a Westlake police officer spotted a baggie of marijuana in the console cup holder.

The woman then tried to stuff the currency down her pants. More reefer was found inside the vehicle, along with a scale and plastic
