Funny Money at Dave & Buster's Again

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Just two months after some men paid their bill at Dave & Buster's with counterfeit money, it's happened again.

This time, four counterfeit $100 bills were passed at Dave & Buster's. The incident happened around 10:10 p.m. on Dec. 3.

The suspects -- described by Westlake Police as four black adults accompanied by nine children -- fled before police could get there.

The bills were turned over to the Secret Service for investigation.

Smells like teens stealing

Two Cleveland teens -- both male, one 18 and the other 15 -- were busted trying to steal from a Crocker Park Blvd. store around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 6.

They both stole $53 pairs of shoes, and the 15-year-old also stole a pair of underpants and a bottle of perfume.

Both were charged with receiving stolen property. The 18-year-old also tried to lie about his identity and was charged with obstructing official business.
