Food, Vomit, Blood Found All Over Hotel Room: Blotters

 A Clemens Road motel room rented by a Cincinnati man was found trashed by the staff the afternoon  of May 26.  Food and vomit were all over, and the clock-radio and phone were both broken. Blood was smeared around the bathroom. The renter has not returned a call from the investigating officer and, as per his room rental agreement, may have his credit card billed for the damages.

An intoxicated 44-year-old man forced his way into his on-off girlfriend’s Dover Center Road home on May 25 at approximately 1 a.m. He was arrested by Westlake police for drunk and disorderly conduct.

The 44-year-old female resident first described the man as her ex-boyfriend, then later stated they had been dating for a year and lived together.

Either way, she locked him out; he kicked in the door from the garage to re-enter the home.

A noisy boyfriend-girlfriend argument at a Bassett Road assisted living facility led to the arrest of both Elyrians on May 25 at 10:54 p.m. The 20-year-old male masqueraded as a cousin, apparently due to his having warrants from Lorain and Elyria police departments.

He was arrested for misidentification, possession of marijuana as well as the warrants.  His 19-year-old love interest helped perpetuate the falsehood resulting in her arrest for obstructing justice.
