FBI, Westlake Police Searching for Bank Robbery Suspect

The Cleveland FBI and Westlake police are searching for a man they say robbed the on Crocker Road just before noon on Friday.

According to Westlake Cpt. Guy Turner, a man in his late teens passed a bomb threat to a bank teller. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect ran, police said.

No one was hurt, Turner said.

The suspect is 17 to 21 years old and between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slight build.

Police said the man may have been driving a black Chevy Impala with temporary tags and tinted windows. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, and carrying a black backpack.
