Drunk Man in the Middle of the Road Loses Shoes, Cell Phone

The following information is selected from Westlake Police logs. Where an arrest is noted it does not indicate a conviction.

An intoxicated Huber Heights, OH man repeatedly mistook the center line of Crocker Road for the sidewalk on July 17 between 1 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

Passers-by called the Westlake Police Department to report him staggering down the middle of the street.

Officers could not locate him the first time; on the second call, he was observed to totter out of some bushes into the roadway without shoes on. He was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct; his shoes and cellphone were found in the bushes he stumbled out of.
