Drunk Man Has No Idea Where He's Going

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Westlake Police found a 23-year-old Cleveland man drunk, shirtless and covered in mud around 2:46 a.m. on Jan. 2.

The man was at the intersection of Detroit and Clague roads, heading west. But he insisted to police that he was walking towards his Cleveland home.

He also had fresh scratch marks on his arms and face.

The man was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Not so neighborly

Two credit cards were stolen from a 62-year-old Westlake woman while she ate at a Main Street restaurant on Jan. 1.

The thief or thieves then went on a shopping spree at Crocker Park, racking up $6,000 in purchases before the bank notified the woman.

She told Westlake Police that she believes the couple sitting next to her at the restaurant may have been involved.
