Drunk Man Attacks Wife Over Former Boyfriend

A 68-year-old Northwood Lane man who had been drinking attacked his wife and now faces charges.
The man quarreled with his wife, also 68, the evening of Jan. 3 over a relationship she had had 43 years ago, before they were married. He punched her in the face and kicked her in the abdomen.
When Westlake Police arived, he struggled with them and fought being placed in the police car. He has been charged with domestic violence and failure to comply with a police order.

A drunk man was reported to Westlake Police to be walking along Interstate 90 between Crocker and Columbia roads just before midnight on Dec. 30.
When police found the man, he refused to identify himself, saying the laws of the United States did not apply to him. He had a woman's credit card on him. When she was called, she said the man was her boyfriend, adding that he was 45 years old and from Cleveland.

The man was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and being a pedestrian on the highway under the influence.
