From this week’s blotters:
An intoxicated 39-year
bicyclist having trouble keeping his balance refused help from passers-bye on
Sept. 29 at 3:54PM. The North Olmsted man fell off the bike on the Clague Road
overpass and was arrested for DCI. His backpack was found to be stuffed with
bottled and canned beer.
Also in the blotters: Coach purse is worth more than $7
A Sperrys Forge Trail resident startled a thief on Sept. 26 at 3:14 a.m. as he rummaged through her car, which was parked in the driveway. The white male in his 20s wearing a white tee shirt ran off with the victim’s Coach purse; it contained $7 cash and personal papers. Officers could not locate him. The purse (sans cash) was found that afternoon behind a Detroit Road condo garage.
He’s innocent! Ok, maybe not
An 18-year-old Euclid man was so engrossed in his Sept. 22 cell phone conversation that that he took the price tag off a $24 sweatshirt and wore it out of a Crocker Park Boulevard store (without stopping to pay for it) at 5:3o p.m. This was not well-received by the staff, who detained him outside. He was arrested for Petty Theft.
