Crocker Park Store Clerk Punched by Women Thieves

This week in the blotters. Charges are not an indication of guilt.

A 51-year-old female clerk at a Crocker Park Main Street store was punched in the stomach in the course of a strong-arm robbery on July 20 around 5:30 p.m. Two black female suspects, both over 6 feet tall, approximately 300 pounds, with medium length black hair entered the store and separated. 

One put two pair of jeans into her bag, and then hit the clerk when she tried to recover them. The suspects fled in a burgundy Ford with a Hawaiian lei on the visor.

The victim had to get permission from corporate headquarters to report the matter which wasn’t granted until July 21.

A 56-year-old Florida woman who is a live-in caretaker for a Woodmill Drive man failed to appreciate his kindness on July 21. She had been drinking and arguing with him in the afternoon; he called Westlake Police Department and asked that she be taken to a local hotel. She got a room, but took a cab back to the house 2 hours later and started in on him again. She was then arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct.
