Crash is Just Beginning of Trouble

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Bad driving started a bad day for a 24-year-old North Olmsted man on May 13.

He rear-ended another car at Clague Road and Hilliard Blvd. around 2:09 a.m. The impact pushed the other car into a third car. The man begged the other drivers not to call police, and drove away when they did.

Unfortunately for him, a Rocky River auxiliary officer was on the scene and followed the man to the North Olmsted home of the mother of his girlfriend, the car's owner. The man ran off.
