Cleveland FBI Searching For Westlake Bank Robbery Suspect

A white man in his mid-20s robbed Fifth Third Bank on Detroit Road Monday evening.

The Cleveland FBI is on the search for a man suspected of robbing on Detroit Road in Westlake on Monday.

A white man in his mid-20s came to the bank at about 5 p.m. Monday, passed a note to a teller demanding money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Special Agent Scott Wilson. No one was injured.

"As far as we know, there was no weapon seen," Wilson said.

The suspect is between 5 feet 7 inches, and 5 feet 10 inches tall, of slender build with a tattoo of a tear drop on his left eye and star tattoos on his neck, according to Wilson.
