Cleveland Duo Found With Stolen Car, Crack Pipe

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A resident on Chapparal saw a man walking between houses nearby in the early hours of July 18 and called Westlake police.

The man had gotten out of a 2012 Hyundai Sonata parked on the street around 2:45 a.m. When police got there, they discovered that the car had been stolen in Rocky River the day before. The key was found in the ignition.

A 46-year-old woman from Cleveland was also in the car. The man, a 40-year-old Clevelander, was found down the street. He denied any connection with the car.

Both he and the woman had been drinking. They were charged with receiving stolen property, disorderly conduct by intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia for a crack pipe found in the car.
