'Cleaning Lady' Arrested After Breaking Into Home
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
An Elyria woman is in Westlake jail on Wednesday after being accused of breaking into a Dover Center Road home, doing some cleaning, then sticking the victim with a bill.
Susan Warren, 53, was stopped by Elyria police on Tuesday night, said Westlake police captain Guy Turner. She wasn't charged with anything there, but since she had a warrant out for her arrest from Westlake, she was taken into custody and turned over to
According to police, Warren entered the home sometime between 9 and 10:45 a.m. on May 22, did some light house cleaning while a resident slept, and left, leaving a $75 bill for her services on a napkin.

Nothing was stolen in the incident. When the victim contacted Warren, she admitted being in the home and needing money.
Warren became irate when a Westlake police officer called, telling the officer she does this all the time, then hung up.

Warren is charged with felony burglary. She will be taken to Rocky River Municipal Court for arraignment on Wednesday, Turner said, where her case will likely be turned over to Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas. She will probably also then be transferred to Cuyahoga County jail.
