On April 23, a Halsted Lane man reported that he had given a 37-year-old Lorain man $3,000 back on April 1 to buy a car in New York. According to the plan, they would then sell it in Cleveland and collect a tidy. The Lorain man has not purchased any car, nor has he given the Westlake man his money back or returned his calls. The Lorain man claims that he broke off the deal and returned the money. The City Prosecutor will rule on any potential charges.
