Booze, Temper, Big Mouth Land Man in Trouble

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 50-year-old Bay Village man is facing several charges after having a few too many on June 13.

Around 8 p.m., he took a swing at a Main Street restaurant manager. Later, he became belligerent with security staff and fought with officers in Promenade at Crocker Park.

The man, described by Westlake police as intoxicated, not only kicked a Westake police officer in the leg, he threatened to shoot several of the security staff and police officers. One officer got a hand scraped up in the incident.

The man faces four charges of aggravated menacing and two charges of assaulting a police officer, as well as charges of assault and resisting arrest.
