A Night of Drinking Leads to Beer Casualty, Disorderly Conduct Charge

A man and a woman begin drinking...and then it gets bad.

A 48-year-old Cleveland woman and a 42-year-old Cleveland man spent the evening of Feb. 6 drinking at her Westlake apartment, and from there, things only went downhill.

At 3:23 a.m. the next day, the female told Westlake police the male had hit her, taken her prescription drugs and some cash, and then bicycled away.

The man returned a short while later and agreed that they had argued over who would drink the last beer, which resulted in her attacking him.

The beer was spilled and became a casualty of the set-to. The man told police that she had given him some of her medications.

Police determined the man did not have the missing items on his person, nor could they be found by officers who followed his tire tracks. He was arrested for disorderly conduct - intoxication.
