A Counterfeit $20 Bill, Stolen Catalytic Converter, Disorderly Conduct

Disorderly conduct

An intoxicated 22-year-old Broadview Heights Woman called 911 four times at about 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 18. She thought she was locked out of her male friend’s Brick Mill Run apartment. No area listing could be found for that friend’s name. She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Theft

The catalytic converter was cut off a Ford pickup truck belonging to a Detroit Road business on the night of Aug. 17. No suspects.

Counterfeiting

A Detroit Road gas station received a counterfeit $20 bill on Aug. 18. The clerk believes an unidentified female used it to buy cigarettes. It will be forwarded to the Secret Service. 

Attempted auto theft 

Unknown persons tried to steal a U-Haul truck from the on the night of Aug. 18. The Chicago man using the truck found the passenger door lock forced and the ignition damaged. It was still drivable and the renters were able to continue on their way. U-Haul was also notified.
