11 Westford Circle Vehicles Broken Into

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

During the night of Aug. 8, 11 vehicles were broken into through on Westford Circle.

Westlake Police are reporting that items taken include cell phones, purses, wallets (including credit cards), GPS units, eyeglasses, coins, and a laptop.

In each case, the means of entry was a broken. Nearby on Saddlebrook Lane, a window was broken and the steering column was peeled on a 1999 Jeep; the suspect(s) could not get it started.

A $600 cellphone belonging to an employee of a Detroit Road restaurant was stolen on Aug. 9 shortly after 2 p.m.  Westlake Police have no suspects; the phone was taken off the bar.
