Go Ahead Cut Busing!

I just found out I will I will be driving two of my children to and from school.  This will be a huge burden for our family but I am prepared to do this considering I did NOT vote for the levy.  Of course I think they could find the money in teacher salaries and other areas.  We have been told they can't do that right now.  When can we ask the teachers to take a pay cut or re-align their salaries with say....Brunswick? When can we ask why a gym teacher or librarian make $90,000/yr?  Ford is laying off in Avon Lake, American Red Cross workers are being asked this week (Administrative and allied health) to reapply for THEIR jobs, they claim to try and avoid lay offs they are reconfigurating salaries.  Many more companies are doing this.  Why are Westlake Schools asking us, these employees of those companies or ones like them to pay more and not ask questions all the time.  Please don't start your rebuttle with I don't care about my kids or their schools, but I care about my house, my cars, my healthcare, and my retirement just as much.  Who is going to go to school board with me to ask for teacher salary adjustments?
