She was able to travel the world with many of her friends from teaching. When she wasn’t busy with work or caring for her family, she enjoyed painting watercolor landscapes. Many of her friends and family received her beautiful watercolors as greeting cards.

In lieu of flowers, her family has started an Education Department Scholarship Fund at Kent State University, where Evelyn received her Master of Education Degree. Checks can be made out to Kent State University Foundation and sent to her daughter at the following address: Mr. & Mrs. R. Tuneberg, 30328 Provincetown Lane, Bay Village, OH 44140.
