How Do You Spell Relief? B-R-O-W-N-S!!!

Colt, Cribbs, Hillis - Oh, what a relief it is!

Sorry Speedy, but I like my jingle better. And why wouldn't I? The Browns relieved my headache and upset stomach!

Now you may be wondering how this could be possible. After all, most of the time watching our Brownies can GIVE us headaches. But it is true. I was up all night with with very bad stomach problems. I finally fell asleep around 7 AM and woke up around game time. By then my stomach was better but still bothering me, plus I also had a killer headache.

I was sick as a dawg.

For the first part of the game, I still felt under the weather. I can never be too confident early on in a game, so the tension was still there. Our guys were doing a good job, but I didn't want to celebrate too soon. We all know that anything can happen during four quarters of football!

Well, as the game went on and we kept performing well my stomach settled down. The headache began to subside, and by the time our win was in the books it was almost gone. Thankfully we had enough of a lead that Indy's late touchdown didn't annoy me. By evening my headache was history...with a little help from Denver. Who would have thought I'd ever root for the Broncos? As long as they beat Cincinnati they can have a win!

So I'm now feeling much better and ready to roll. Time to hit the gym. And I'm going to go against the grain and wear my Browns stuff after a win! (I've always been a bit of a rebel.) Thank God for our first win of the season.

Now ... if only I could bottle and patent my relief formula. What should I call it? Brownaids? Hillis-Seltzer?
