So You Want To Be A Writer?

In todays world of social media on a  global platform it is imperative that you become social media savy. One way to do achieve this is to write your own blog, you can write a blog about anything that you are passionate about,or if you have knowledge in a field that people would find interesting you could write a blog about it... And there are a lot of blogging sites where you can show off your skills, sites such as Patch where you can give a local perspective...

I am blessed that I can blog here on the Patch about everything and anything, I also work as a freelance writer and it is a rewarding career and it can help you also make money, especially if you are a stay at home mom as I am, doing this has helped me be near my children and do what I love to do and that is write.

Now the reason for this post, a very dear friend of mine who helped me start my career in writing is in the process of writing a book that will help anyone that is looking into making a career out of freelance writing. The book is going to be called Write and Get Paid and the author is Denise Gabbard she is an amazing talent and her expertise in the field of writing and getting paid is bar none.
